Do you want to sell more wedding albums? I do as well. I have to admit, in all my years being a wedding photographer, I’ve sold less than I’ve wanted to.
Today on The Bearded Tog Podcast, I’ll be talking with my friend Alicia Ann Daw, owner of Alicia Ann Photographers. She regularly sells albums to 80% of her clients! In this episode, she shares how she achieves numbers like that and runs her business with intention.
- There are kids growing up today who will not have any photos of their childhood to show their children or grandchildren because the only photos of them exist digitally. Alicia saw this trend of only giving clients digital download, and was worried they wouldn’t have a photo album to show their descendants either.
- The way Alicia ensures that her clients get an album, is to only include standard resolution photos in the base package. They then have the option of purchasing an upgrade to high resolution, or, they will come automatically with the purchase of an album. She has her albums priced lower than the high res digital files, so the album is a logical choice for the couple.
- Alicia believes all your business decisions must be made with intention. The choices you make must reflect who you are and what you want your life to look like.
