The more and more I do this “job” the more I realize how love makes people do crazy things, but I think in a good way. As for being Augustina & Kevin’s Baltimore wedding photographer, I had this revelation when these two finally saw each other and every stress or detail that wasn’t related to love quickly became irrelevant. The relaxation and stress “drop” after a first look is something I can only describe using the photos below.
This wedding was one we all had been waiting for a long time and yet it felt like it arrived right on time. I spent the whole day with Augustina & Kevin from 11 AM to 11 PM so I could tell their whole story on the wedding day. Everything they had planned, their location being downtown Baltimore inner harbor where we shot their engagement session and Pier 5 where they’d party it up in between city lights into the night. For A & K, they’re one of those couples where it is obvious they love each other, but even more so you can’t think of anyone better for them.
The entire day was one sweet and colorful moment to the next. With Augustina’s Greek heritage, family is everything. For Kevin, the emphasis and comfort around the brotherhood he was both born with and created with fellow marines was so special. I can’t say enough about these two and just how honored I am to have been their wedding photographer and now a friend. We’ll let the photos below do the talking!
I am EXTREMELY jealous of them as they’re in Iceland on their honeymoon right now, but I guess these Baltimore wedding photos at Pier 5 and the harbor will do for now! Here are some of my favorites!
