I have been lucky enough to shoot at some of the best wedding venues in northern Virginia. It was super hard to narrow down the list but I wanted to include a good variety of venues that Virginia has to offer. Let me know if I missed anything!

Regency at Dominion Valley
Regency at Dominion Valley is considered one of the best wedding venues in Virginia by all those who have visited it. Beautiful lush green ceremony grounds and a gorgeous clubhouse make it an ideal place to get married. The first time I shot a wedding here, we lucked out and got perfect weather and stunning photos.

Alexandrian Hotel
Nestled in the very charming Old Town Alexandria, the Alexandrian Hotel is a beautiful DC wedding venue to celebrate nuptials. The recently redone brick court yard and surrounding cobble stone streets make for perfect wedding day portrait backdrops. Chrissy + Vincent’s classic wedding was shot at the Alexandrian. We had fun walking the surrounding area and getting some beautiful shots.

Marriott Ranch & Rappahannock Cellars Winery
If you fancy a more rural wedding venue in Virginia then look no further. Marriott Ranch is a charming place for bridal parties to prepare for the big day followed by a down-to-Earth reception at Rappahannock Cellars. I’ve shot a couple weddings at these venues and I am always inspired by the beautiful landscapes.

Kyle House
It might seem like I am impartial to Old Alexandria venues but it’s no secret that this historic district is home to some of the most unique wedding venues in Northern Virginia. Kyle house is exceptionally special with its dark and intimate layout. Aaron + Arianna’s wedding at Kyle House was one of my most memorable for me to shoot at and you will see why in the photos.

Barn at Kline’s Mill
Another venue option for a more rustic wedding theme in Northern Virginia is the Barn at Kline’s Mill. This farm like setting works any time of the year but is especially beautiful in the winter. The large and open barn is the centerpiece of this wedding venue which is surrounded by gorgeous landscapes of rolling hills and open fields. Market at Grelen
Market at Grelen is definitely one of prettiest and best wedding venues in Virginia. With a beautiful tented reception area and gorgeous outdoor ceremony area, it is near the top of my list. At this summer wedding, we lucked out and missed the rain and got some great wedding photos for this happy couple, Dave + Courtney.
