And I’m back! Or should I say WE! In case you missed it, my recent hiatus from blogging has been because I and Sara got married! Hopefully you saw on Instagram! There will be more posts about it here, so check back soon! Now it’s time for Mike & Bethany’s Cherry Blossoms Engagement photos!
But just a few days before our wedding, I got to hangout with Mike & Bethany down at the Tidal Basin for their Cherry Blossoms engagement session! The weather this year as opposed to my cherry blossoms sessions last year was much better, and even when it was breezy Mike & Bethany stayed strong!
We got really lucky as there were minimal crowds. The only people around the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial were other couples and photographers!
Mike & Bethany were perfect for shooting an engagement session, and already had a really cool connection with each other. Mike had proposed to Bethany in a cool way that included a ride in a helicopter! It was so fun recapping that special moment with them as we walked around.
Finishing up the session and avoiding tourist buses coming in, we did a few photos at the World War II memorial and along the National Mall. It was fantastic to hang with these two before my wedding and I’m pumped for them and their upcoming wedding!
