Jina & Jeff

January 4, 2020

After being in DC for almost 7 years now (what?!!) it’s an incredible feeling to get to shoot at a wedding venue for the first time, especially one so close to my house! When Jina & Jeff reached out about their Gallery on H Street wedding last year I knew we had to work together. I spend so much time on H St Northeast and it’s where I lived the first 5 years of my time here. Add in that Jina & Jeff are incredible people, and you’ve got a recipe for greatness.

The started the way most awesome weddings do, laughing and having a blast during getting ready. Jina’s family and bridesmaids made the morning so special as they hyped up Jina to get ready at CityCenter. Then we had an epic first look under the CityCenter Fall art installation which was so cool and we even ended up getting coffee together in between the first look and wedding party photos. How fun?? Also, if you’ve never walked around in public wearing wedding clothes, you should try it! Lots of fun!

After all of the epic couple portraits and wedding party photos at CityCenter we had great weather for their DC War Memorial wedding ceremony. October weddings outside are THE BEST and always light up the Fall color vibes. Later on of course, was time for the outdoor reception at Gallery on H St. They had pizza (great move there!) for dinner and danced the night away. We even got a few portraits outside on H St NE near the Atlas Theatre and H St Country Club. The perfect DC October wedding and it could not have been more fun. Excited to get these two their album before the holidays so they can share it with family during any travels or get togethers. Here are a few of my favorite images from Jina & Jeff’s Gallery on H St wedding!
