There are only a few weddings that come across your path a small number of times throughout your career, and you remember them forever. Usually that’s for extremely good (Or extremely crazy reasons haha) but for Juliana & Alex’s National Cathedral wedding, it extremely good 🙂
My second photographer Michael and I spent 17 hours straight with these two and by the end of the night it felt like we were family. As a photographer, starting the day early with these two for their getting ready at the Hay Adams was so special. Getting ready is more than just getting dressed, it’s preparation of your special day with people in your life who’ve hopefully helped you become you.
With it’s Neo-Gothic style, arches, and flying buttresses the Washington National Cathedral made for a gorgeous DC wedding backdrop for documenting the intimate moments through a photojournalistic technique.
