Usually my engagement sessions consist of two subjects, and I’m like a photographing third wheel. For Jeremy & Jasmine’s U Street Corridor engagement session, there was another dashing photo subject who was the cutest subject ever: a french bulldog named Chunk!
Jeremy & Jasmine are getting married in Minnesota but wanted to do something in their favorite area of U Street Corridor and Meridian Hill park for their engagement. It’s where they met, where they live, where they got jobs, and even where they brought Chunk into their lives!
I love engagement sessions in the area that’s significant to the couple. As my new About section says, it’s all about telling those stories that haven’t been told yet.
These three were super cute and even though it was our first time meeting, we ended the night like we were old friends. We wandered through Meridian Hill Park and sweated on the steps, strolled down 14th St past Manhattan Laundry (near my favorite La Colombe!) and ended up near Ben’s Chili Bowl. There are cool murals and textures on that walk that made for a perfect engagement session.
