The Saturated Market Doesn’t Exist

Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, you’re bound to have heard that your market is saturated with photographers.  With literally thousands of people in every city that want to make it as photographers, it can feel extremely overwhelming.  But Adam believes that if you truly find your why and focus on what makes you, you, there’s no such thing as a saturated market!

  • “The market is only saturated when you’re trying to be like everyone else.”
  • Join the Facebook group!
  • What is the difference between Ford, Chevy, and Dodge?  Unless you’re a car enthusiast, any of these cars would probably be fine.
  • The last thing you want is for someone to just book you because you’re a vendor.  You don’t want to be another vendor!
  • Goals for Adam’s mentors include having more work than you can even handle, and being beyond just different in a saturated market.
  • Your brand and how you stand out is not just how “different” your work is.
  • Here is what you need to beat the saturated market:
    • A clearly defined brand.  You have to become a specialist.
    • Think of what you’re already good at, and work backwards.
    • The first thing that people see and feel from your online presence is “your vibe”.
  • This is a lot of work, but when your weddings feel and look like dream weddings, it’s worth it!
