It wouldn’t be an official start to wedding season if it didn’t begin with the first double wedding weekend! Friday was for Kylie & Taylor’s sweet day, but Saturday was for Jen & Paul’s Capitol Hill Club wedding! There was no better feeling than coming home Saturday night after J & P’s wedding. Let’s talk about it.
First, these two heartfelt folks who I hung out with a few months back for their Arlington engagement, had a huge wedding party, which made every moment feel like a party. Secondly, we got to do wedding party portraits in front of the Capitol here in Washington DC and that was awesome! And lastly, we finished up with filled dances and a big party at the Capitol Hill Club! One thing I loved about this day was Jen’s willingness to jump off the bus on the way back to the venue and do some couple photos with Paul in front of the Capitol. Portrait time isn’t just for photos, but it’s a good time for the couple to just be together and those photos are priceless! Plus: Paul, Jen and I walked back from the Capitol which was super cool! We took photos along the day and got re-energized for the reception! So fun!
