One of the things I always stress when picking an engagement shoot location is picking a post that pays what I call “multiple dividends”. It means there’s a large variety from natural, urban, silly, serious, old, modern, etc. to shoot. This way get the most amount of textures, colors, poses and overall awesome images! Stephen & Nicole decided on an Ellicott City Engagement and threw in (pun intended) a holi colored powder photoshoot and even some bride and groom legos!
In the words of Barney Stinson: “Nailed it!”. Stephen and Nicole chose historic Ellicott City in Maryland for their shoot and it paid off greatly. The weather was a little on the grey side but we made up for it I think. Stephen and Nicole are getting married in September and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding. This engagement was so fun and had everything from Legos to Boston Terriers and this mysterious color dust I’ve been hearing about for weeks! We even had some dancing to Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop”. It was one of the most fun engagements in a while! Enjoy!
