There are couples that know how to have fun, and then there are Pete & Liz. I met up with them for their amazing Fort Belvoir Wedding and the night never felt stale. Their wedding was even at the Officers Club! How cool is that? As a DC Wedding Photographer, this was so fun!
These two had a gorgeous ceremony at the Cathedral of St Thomas More in Arlington Virginia that was intimate and sincere, yet was full of joy as Pete & Liz walked down the aisle on their way to the wedding reception at Fort Belvoir’s Officer’s Club.
The Officers Club at Fort Belvoir is such a unique place! When I arrived, there were four separate weddings happening on the property. It was an absolutely gorgeous venue and it was obvious that love was in the air.
I mostly hung out with the groomsmen during the morning to create many of their portraits and document them getting ready for Pete’s big day. After the ceremony, I was with Liz and her bridesmaids as they wanted to take some time and do some fun photos with each other. I love when couples want to maximize their wedding timeline and get more photos of the people they care about!
Anyway, Pete and Liz’s Fort Belvoir wedding was incredibly fun to be at. Thanks to Rob Jinks for letting me shoot with him. Here are a few of my favorite photos from Pete & Liz’s Fort Belvoir wedding.
