I’m back after a few weeks of traveling and working on some fun new projects. I couldn’t be more grateful to kick off the second half of this year’s weddings with David & Amanda’s movie theatre inspired wedding! Their DC waterfront engagement session was fun, so I knew this would be no different.
On Tuesday, the weather started out grim, but after David and Amanda had their fun pedicures in the morning, the weather started to brighten up and make for some wonderful photos.
David and Amanda met at Ted’s Bulletin, an amazing restaurant in Southeast Washington DC, where David was an employee. We had to do some portraits there and the staff was more than accommodating! We also did portraits at DC’s Miracle Theatre which was absolutely fun! The Miracle Theatre team even put David and Amanda’s names on the marquee! It was AWESOME!
Since these two have a passion for good food, their reception was at the incredible Bluejacket Brewery. It was laid back, filled with their closest friends and family. We even explored Yards Park a little bit for some wedding portraits near the waterfront and District Winery. It was a fantastic day and incredible wedding with these two! Here’s a few of my favorite photos from their movie theatre inspired wedding in Southeast DC!
