This summer is turning out to be an incredibly hot one here in DC. When most folks are trying to find a/c indoors though, I’m the one outside taking photos for awesome people like Benji & Stacey and their National Mall Engagement.
Stacey emailed me a few days ago trying to think of other dates or options for their engagement session. We thought of Union Market, the National Portrait Gallery, and a few other cool spaces. But none of them really won either of us over so we decided to stick with our original plan of the National Mall here in Washington DC. Although it would be hot, Benji is a history buff and DC is so important to both of these lovebirds.
We ended up starting at the incredible Lincoln Memorial in one of my favorite not-so-packed sections! You have to go on an engagement session with me to find out where to go!
Anyway, afterwards we found a few key spots then headed to the Capitol visitor center and got a few images in in front of the Senate side, The Capitol, and the Library of Congress. I can’t wait for Benji & Stacey’s wedding in September but for now here are a few of my favorite images below!
