I’ve shot a lot of weddings the past few years. By a lot, I mean 100 and Brent & Ellen’s Rolling Rails Lodge wedding this weekend was my 100th wedding in the history of Mason Photography! I could not have asked for better people or a better day to spend telling my 100th love story.
First off, you know from Brent & Ellen’s engagement session in DC which ended in deep-dish pizza, these two are full of smiles, sarcasm, that’s-what-she-said jokes, and of course love. I’ve known Ellen since I was in high school, yet Brent I also feel like I’ve known for a lifetime. The whole day was surrounded by amazing people that love these two. You can’t go wrong at the new Rolling Rails Lodge either! To be one of the wedding photographers to photograph there was an honor!
I have lots of fun stories from B & E’s wedding day in Pennsylvania, but one of my favorites is the fact that the couple whose wedding was the first I photographed, Jonathan and Breanne were there doing videography! I had to get a photo with both Jonathan and Breanne combined with Brent and Ellen to mark this amazing day.
I’ll write more on this, but know I am SO THANKFUL to have this job and have gotten to experience the depths of relationships of over 100 couples, 200 families combining, and countless stories.
