During the times of COVID, one of the positives of such a dark time was how creative every couple got in planning a wedding that would keep their communities as safe as they were comfortable, without sacrificing the emotion and vision of the day. For Barrett and Gabrielle, they decided to have their wedding at one of our favorite DC flower shops, She Loves Me.
It was such a well planned and casual day as I started with these two at their house, where we did their first look in the front yard which was so cute. After shooting around some of their favorite spots like Lincoln Park and Blagden Alley, we headed to She Loves Me where there was a registered nurse there who would rapid test every guest before arriving. While they had an intimate Jewish ceremony, I navigated the tight space to grab images that felt like that moment we were in. Outside of me there was a livestreaming team as well who did a great job getting angles for the guests who couldn’t be there.
After the flower shop wedding ceremony, we headed to Centrolina for an intimate sit-down dinner, where we did some family portraits outside and the guests ate and drank until the night was over. Here are a few favorite photos from their She Loves Me Wedding!
