Considering I usually post blog posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I normally start these blog posts mentioning “this past Saturday..” or “this past weekend”, but this one’s different. Kevin & Daniella had their amazing St Francis Hall wedding in Brookland yesterday! It was my first Monday wedding and was absolutely wonderful to shoot a wedding in Martin Luther King Day.
I met Kevin a few years ago when we worked together at National Community Church and we immediately became friends. He’s a great guy and we’ve broken into laughter more times than I can count. After spending time with him and Daniella during their Barracks Row engagement session, I became extra excited for their special St Francis Hall wedding.
Kevin & Daniella’s wedding at St Francis Hall was a fantastic mix of super laid back and classy. Kevin’s suit was from Express, Daniella’s dress from BHLDN (Vatana Watters), they were prepped for the colder January day in Brookland.
This wedding was extra special because St Francis Hall is where Sara and I are getting married as well! I think I probably felt a little extra warm and fuzzy while taking Kevin & Daniella’s photos for their St Francis Hall wedding.
The ceremony and reception were so fun (I ate WAY too many risotto balls!), filled with hilarious comments from good friends during speeches as long as some sentimental toasts that filled the room with tears. You can see for yourself the fun that was had below. 🙂
