It’s hard to believe we’re currently in December already and 2019 is around the corner. This past weekend we photographed Ben & Tynisha’s St.Francis Monastery wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better, more meaningful weekend.

This wedding was one of those that made us glad to do what we do. We spent all day with these two, their closest friends and family and we’re better for it. There was pretty lucky weather for December in Washington DC (it even went over 60 degrees!), lots of time for all the photos from family to wedding party to Ben & Tynisha, and even more time for storytelling and getting to see these two on their best day.

Photographing this wedding where Sara and I got married, I was already feeling nostalgic coming into it and when the gorgeous piano sounds echoed through St.Francis Hall as Tynisha walked down the aisle, it was impossible to photograph anyone not crying. It was that kind of day. The best day.

Speaking of the best day, we’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. Here are a few of my favorites from Ben & Tynisha’s St.Francis Monastery wedding!
