The past few years, especially being in DC I’ve realized and adopted the idea that my camera is a passport to places and peoples stories. This weekend was exactly that. Josh, Hana and I spent 3 days together and by the end of the weekend, we were all sad it had to end. Their super fun District Winery wedding was the stuff of legends.
Watching families and traditions combine, especially with Hana’s Ethiopian family I was especially pumped to meet them and practice my Amharic and Oromo. Having been to Ethiopia twice, Hana’s mom and dad basically said I was already family. 😭😭😭 I love being with my couples and their families as much as possible, getting to tell more of the story. This one was so special.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Hana & Josh’s super fun District Winery wedding!
