This is the week of incredible and unique engagement sessions and I could not be happier. When a couple is up for an interesting or new idea for their couple session, I am all for it! On the phone a few weeks back, Kelly & Aaron told me they loved spending time on the water or laying out at the beach, so what better way to document their engagement than a beach couple session?
We met up at Sandy Point State Park this time around and immediately dove into shooting (see what I did there?). I loved how loving and affectionate these two were. There was barely any posing! It was more like “go do what you’re already doing, in that pretty spot!” which was awesome!
As the light got into its perfect blue/purple hues for the evening, it was time to jump into the Chesapeake Bay water! This was my first time using an underwater housing on my camera, but it was so fun and the camera stayed dry the whole time! I made Kelly & Aaron imitate Bay Watch, splash each other and ultimately we just had such a good time enjoying the beach!
