I would like to say something like “it’s not every day that you photograph a beach wedding during a hurricane” but literally, the same thing happened almost a year ago to the day. Could my new nickname be “Hurricane Adam”?
Luckily, my couples are a perfect combination of tough and fun. Chris & Emily are no different and continually laid on their joyous and fun attitudes during Saturday’s Bethany Beach Wedding. Their love and laughs made for an awesome engagement session at Great Falls earlier this year, and this wedding was nothing short of special.
The rain cleared up after a few hours and we were able to have the wedding ceremony right on the Bethany Beach boardwalk and bandstand. With that, Chris & Emily were able to have a few extra guests without paying for any more food! Their wedding was the most exciting thing happening that day (or maybe this year!) and everyone paused and watched.
During the reception at Mango’s, it felt like every single person was on the dance floor and enjoying the amazing stories told from friends, and especially Chris’ father. Overall it was an incredible Bethany Beach wedding in Delaware! Here are a few of my favorites…
