Having never shot at a venue doesn’t scare me, it excites me. After I met with Mallory & Jimmy for their wedding, they weren’t sure where they’d have their special day. A few months later, when they told me about their Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding, I got super excited! Like, kid opening up N64 on Christmas Day excited!
I met Mallory & Jimmy on my second trip to Iceland! A trip that was originally going to be a solo trip that turned into 13 people turned close friends battling the snow and lack of sleep to enjoy the views Iceland had to offer. Over a year later, 23,000 views on the Iceland vlog from our trip, and three engagements (Mallory & Jimmy, mine & Sara’s and our friends Paul & Carly!) I couldn’t have been more excited for this day.
The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is an incredible venue. There’s boats and water everywhere, and sand is part of life. Mallory & Jimmy’s ceremony view was the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge as the sun perfectly came down to light their family & friends. There were tears on both sides, great sun, and a happy celebration of this new committment! It was one of those days everyone had waited for!
With as many people as Mallory & Jimmy had at their Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding, their reception was packed to the brim! An awesome live band, 18,000 cookies (yes, that’s right!), and a party that didn’t stop made for happy faces everywhere.
