Very often, I am absolutely struck with gratitude after even just meeting a potential couple. My wedding meetings are unlike other wedding meetings, as my intention is simply getting to know the people sitting in front of me or on the phone with me, and their absolute depth of relationships.
It may seem crazy to dive that deep on first meeting, but I’ve found the better I know my clients, the better their photos turnout. The intricacies, the joys, and even the struggles that a couple has experienced helps me know even more how important this day is to them and what it means to their families. When I met Kate, it was one wedding meeting I’d never forget.
Her and Bill’s colorful District Winery wedding on Friday was the perfect start to a weekend filled with weddings and a reminder of what this job is all about. These two have been through so much, but are so amazingly tough! In the moments I spent with just Bill & Kate, I felt this powerful sense of relief, of rest and hope. It was incredible.
Their wedding was special, as you’ll see from the photos but I thought sharing quickly about how wonderful these two are was worth your time.
Here are a few of my absolute favorite images from Bill and Kate’s colorful District Winery wedding!!!
