When planning a DC Engagement session, it’s best to plan for weather, the crowds and ultimately cyclists. You can avoid dealing with most of those things if you plan for an early session or happen to be cyclists.
Scott & Christina fit both those categories!
We got up super early and met at the Capitol at 6AM where it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. No crowds or bad weather, and only a few extra cyclists. Scott & Christina are one of those couples where I barely do any posing. I almost just say “get close together” and then they laugh, giggle and are super cute without any direction.
Towards the end of the DC engagement session, we headed to The Fridge art gallery to take some really cool and fun shots in front of the graffiti walls. It was a blast! For the last few fun photos, Scott & Christina
For the last few fun photos, Scott & Christina grabbed their bikes and I photographed part of their story as a couple that could otherwise easily be missed. They were great sports about trying new things and any engagement session where at least one of us ends up in leggings has to be fun right?
I can’t wait for their District Winery wedding later this year, but for now, enjoy some of my favorite images from Scott & Christina’s DC Engagement session.
