I love photographing weddings in Baltimore! Despite shooting mostly in DC and NYC, there’s a special place in my heart for the inner harbor so when Lauren & Garrett reached out for me to shoot their Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum Wedding I happily obliged! I knew this would be a sun-filled fantastic day near Fells Point with a gorgeous waterfront ceremony and more!
These two got ready downtown in the Hilton Canopy right on the Baltimore inner harbor with their families and friends enjoying the sky-high views. It was then when it felt like we were members of the family as opposed to just vendors. We love when that connection is made!
After a sappy first look, we gathered inside the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum for family and wedding party photos with the cool brick background. Keeping out of the direct sun during these photos helped a lot, so we could be on the dock for the ceremony with much better light. The ceremony was romantic of course with all the gorgeous light and we headed into a super fun dance floor! Lauren & her dad even performed a medley of classic songs they used to dance to which was such a heartfelt and personal touch!
