I’ve always heard that it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day. I can’t confirm or deny that, but if it is true, then I’d say Nick & Becky are the luckiest couple in the world. Their Glen Echo Park Wedding day began at their house in Adam’s Morgan with me arriving at their house drenched due to the downpour that was Sunday afternoon.
When I met Nick & Becky though and told them their porch would work great for rain-free images their smiles didn’t give a hint that they were disappointed. With their flexibility and our collective luck, the worst of the weather pains ended toward the beginning of the day and we had some incredible portrait time during their wedding at Glen Echo Park. It was my first time shooting there, and it was so fun to explore with Nick & Becky and tell their story.
Later that day, their friends and family cheered as they walked down the aisle and begin their first moments as husband and wife. There were teary-eyed toasts, hilarious dancing with props and a party that felt like it never stopped. I had so much fun with these two and I think we could’ve shot the “Cuddle Up” sign at their Glen Echo Park Wedding a million times before we got tired of it! Here are a few of my favorite photos from Nick & Becky’s Glen Echo Park Wedding!
