It’s such an industry laugh when it comes to weddings about things not being perfect, or not running on time. For Ben & Lauren’s Hotel Washington wedding, that was not the case. From getting ready to their first look in front of The White House to the epic reception at the former W hotel, it was perfect. During their engagement session at The Wharf where we got perfect light, I knew this couple was special and we’d have a ton of fun.
The night before this wedding, I shot their intimate rehearsal dinner at Modena where there were tears, stories, cocktails, and special gifts. After that, these two had a huge welcome dinner of 100+ people on the rooftop of their apartment complex, overlooking downtown DC. The weddings where we’re included in the rehearsal dinner or extra special for me as it makes those wedding days extra fun and easy. You couldn’t plan a more perfect day for two of the best people.
