There’s a moment during each wedding where clients and guests let their hair down, let loose, and be themselves. It’s usually during dinner and the reception. As a photographer, I’m always anticipating this time because although I love the events that happen before this then, this is when lots of moments and memories wrapped in fun occur. For Sarah & Vik’s Locanda Verde wedding in NYC, the entire wedding was dinner and the reception!
I had originally had my last wedding of the year to be in early December, but a week or so before Thanksgiving, my couple Phil & Caitlin contacted me about shooting Sarah & Vik’s fun party and that they needed a photographer! It sounded like a fun adventure to travel up to NYC during the Winter and shoot what would be their 3rd wedding in two weeks (they had other ceremonies internationally)!
It was a cozy and intimate romantic restaurant wedding in New York City, and a night to remember. Here are a few of my favorites from Sarah & Vik’s Locanda Verde wedding in New York City!

My goal is to create memories that don’t exist yet. I exist to eliminate fear, create connection between those who are divided, and to let people become fulfilled in who they are and who they’re becoming.
I’m based in Washington DC and love creating colorful photos for colorful people. If this sounds like you and your wedding, never hesitate to contact me for availability and pricing!
I frequently travel for wedding, event, and non-profit portrait sessions and have photographed weddings and stories in 15 countries and over 20 states from coastal Maui to Iceland!
