It is always a toss up with the weather, but this year especially the rain and gray skies in Washington DC have been a plenty. After chatting with Caitlin & Phil about their DC Sunrise Engagement last Thursday night, we decided we should go for it and see if the weather would shift for us. Oh it did and it was magical.
I met, or rather photographed Caitlin & Phil on the dance floor at Nick & Becky’s Glen Echo wedding last year and I was ecstatic when they asked me to be their wedding photographer for their epic day next year. This engagement was so fun and in the morning the Navy was celebrating their birthday by running and photographing around the national mall, so we had a little bit more company than normal sunrise engagements in DC but it was great!
