This winter I had the great opportunity of photographing Mark Batterson. Mark is the Lead Pastor of National Community Church in Washington DC and a New York Times Bestselling author of 10 books! Having read some of his books like In a Pit With A Lion on a Snow Day, PRIMAL, and The Circle Maker I was excited when I got the email to update a few of Mark’s photos. He’s a great subject and very easygoing. We shot around Capitol Hill, his office where he has thousands of books, and on the top of a coffeshop named Ebenezers Coffeehouse that Mark and his church transformed from a former crackhouse.
