Boom! The blog is on a roll and most likely won’t stop for a while! Today we’re talking about awesome engagement sessions, specifically John & Kayla’s amazing National Cathedral Engagement last week in Washington DC. One of the things I love about engagement sessions is the opportunity to explore a new area, usually with folks like John & Kayla who know that spot!
John & Kayla picked the perfect day and location for their engagement session. The light was INSANELY perfect and they even brought their awesome dog Captain (featured below!) along with them! We got really lucky at the National Cathedral, as there were not many people there (this is why we do engagement sessions on weekdays!) so we could explore wherever we wanted.
J & K are super fun folks and afterward, we went out for Mexican at Cactus Cantina. Any session that ends in guacamole, is a winning engagement session.
John & Kayla are getting married later this year at Thousand Acre Farm and I can’t wait to capture their big day, but for now here are a few of my favorite photos from their National Cathedral Engagement session.
P.S. I still have a few slots open for couple or engagement sessions this Spring and Summer. Email Me if you’d like to do one!
