One of the best things about this “job” is diving into couples stories and doing my best to showcase their personalities as well as the depth of their relationship with every photo. For Kirsti & Nora’s same-sex-engagement photos last week, the whole session was just that!
These two were up for anything and despite the hot sun, the National Gallery of Art is one of my favorite any-weather session spots in DC so we had gorgeous light around all of the exhibitions. In addition to the good light, we looked a little strange while traveling in the “multiverse” light tunnel multiple times because it was so gorgeous and unique.
Later on, we ended up heading to Blagden Alley for the most Instagram-famous LOVE mural in town (by Lisa Marie) which is always fun. I’m counting down the days until Kirsti & Nora’s District Winery wedding next year but until then, here are a few of my favorite photos from Kirsti & Nora’s engagement session!

My goal is to create memories that don’t exist yet. I exist to eliminate fear, create connection between those who are divided, and to let people become fulfilled in who they are and who they’re becoming.
I’m based in Washington DC and love creating colorful photos for colorful people. If this sounds like you and your wedding, never hesitate to contact me for availability and pricing!
