It is a picture perfect wedding venue for the couple who appreciates the beauty of the outdoors.
About UGA Botanical Gardens
Located just outside of charming Athens, Georgia, the Botanical Gardens of the University of Georgia has all the right venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The on-site Day Chapel blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings and a beautiful location for couples to exchange their wedding vows. The garden’s Great Room is an incredible indoor tropical garden to host receptions any time of the year. In addition, the Terrace Room offers an elegant space for small or large gatherings. The UGA Botanical Gardens are open year round and they are a perfect and chanting place to host a wedding ceremony and reception.

When Mat + Ann asked me to photograph their wedding, I was excited to come back to UGA Botanical Gardens. I had also shot their engagement session at the same place during a hot Georgian summer. Their autumn wedding was perfect because the leaves had fallen and the weather was mild. It was a serene and peaceful wedding full of emotion and intimacy.
