Every weekend I find myself unable to believe that this is really my job. This past weekend at Wade & Meghan’s wedding at Heritage Shores in Delaware, it felt like “Don’t Stop Believin!” was in my head the whole time. This wedding simply continued to enforce to me how blessed I am to work with amazing couples like Wade and Meghan.
Wade & Meghan are that couple in their friend group. The one where they’re adorable together, smile a ton and exude happiness and adventure at every moment. For example: we shot their engagement session in a field of sunflowers.
The ceremony was filled with waterworks, both tears and sweat due to the lovely Delaware heat. There were adorable flower girls and lots of good and beautiful light! We took the golf carts for a spin with some Heritage Shores staff at the wheel and hung out at a lovely weeping willow tree that I absolutely love.
During the reception, DJ Mike kept more people on the dance floor than I think any wedding I’ve ever shot. Receptions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding day, because often that’s when everyone is in full celebration mode. And of course it makes for hilarious and colorful photos.
