I’m learning to think that the recipe for a great summer wedding is simple: great weather + fun people = great summer wedding. This past weekend, with Anthony & Kaitlyn’s wedding at Wyndridge Farm there were so many gorgeous details and heartfelt moments, but the theme was that despite how hot it was, the people made it a great day.
Shooting this wedding, I felt like I had known Anthony and Kaitlyn for years. We had chatted when they booked, shot their engagement session in Baltimore, and I did a photography lesson with Anthony a few months back. Plus, this being my second time shooting at the incredible Wyndridge Farm, there were lot of touch points so the wedding day felt all the more like a family reunion.
Some of my highlights from the day started from the beginning of the day. With Anthony and Kaitlyn being so competitive (both former athletes), even the question of who wrote the better card was like an Olympic feat (but as you’ll see from the first photo, Kaitlyn obviously won!). Also, when Anthony and Kaitlyn got to see their daughter Riley after the ceremony during photos was a special moment. Other than that, I just remember the dance floor being packed, lots of Kendrick Lamar, and everyone joining in the celebration of Anthony and Kaitlyn. It was a fantastic day. Take a look at some of my favorite photos from Anthony and Kaitlyn’s wedding at Wyndridge Farm below.
