There are few Fall wedding venues near DC like Woodend Sanctuary. The colors, leaves and of course a slight chill in the air all are a great setup. This weekend though, it was for Sarah & Tom’s epic Woodend Sanctuary Wedding!
We love couples who are laid back, yet intentional. It’s a rare mix for some, but Sarah & Tom fit that bill on Saturday to the tee. Immediately upon arriving, we went right into first look and portraits of these two lawyer-lovebirds. We literally frolicked in the meadow at Woodend and it was so easy to let Sarah and Tom just be themselves for some relaxed portraits before the ketubah signing and family photos.
Later on, the incredible outdoor ceremony at Woodend would be gorgeous and feel incredibly sacred. After the vows and all of the somewhat indie or obscure tunes were played, we would party it up for a fun and X-Files-filled reception. These days are the best days.
