You can’t get much better than Aaron & Kara when it comes to couples who are equal parts sentimental and fun. Since I met these guys last year, it’s been nothing but exciting texts, sharing Momofuku after their engagement session, being pumped to see this anticipated day that happened this weekend. It was at District Winery, where we are often, but it was more than a DC wedding with a view, this one was special.
Being with these guys all day, as in almost 12 hours, allowed for everyone to connect more than ever and realize just how important this day was for these two. Having been dating for many years, there was this gentle connection between Aaron & Kara that was so fun to be around, like old souls but in advance.
This is one of those weddings where I could certainly tell you how their wedding felt, but I’d much rather let the photos do the talking. This wedding was one I’ll cherish for a long time (especially since they invited me to watch the Patriots game the next day! What?!!).
