It’s always a pleasure to shoot weddings in beautiful spaces, but when it’s with a couple that we feel extra close to it truly takes the day to a new level. For Chelie & Drew’s Dockmaster Building wedding, you couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful occasion with location, weather, and fun!
The day started out with so many laughs from room to room, even a pillow fight with Drew and his groomsmen. That was a first for our team! They were tired of bridesmaids getting all the robe or custom pajamas fun that they wanted to join in.
Throughout the day, the light and location of having a Dockmaster building wedding just created amazing photo opportunities not often received in DC. The Wharf is of course an amazing wedding photo location and we walked around with these two, as well as their wedding parties to enjoy the area and make some epic photos.
Later in the night when it was time to rock out, these two partied it up like no one’s business without missing a beat. There were so many fun moments watching Chelie & Drew dance and laugh that it’s hard not to feel connected to them. Just look at their Dockmaster Building wedding photos! So many moments!
