Doing something unheard of, I posted Colin & Jillian’s Lacuna Artist Lofts wedding photos before posting this engagement post. We were all just so excited about the images and ya know it happens! That doesn’t take away from a few days before when we shot Colin & Jillian’s downtown Chicago engagement.
Colin & Jillian are so interesting AND so fun. Colin’s an “accountant with a badass tattoo” (I laughed out loud at this) while Jillian’s been skydiving and to Siena Italy. We met at Intelligentsia coffee in downtown Chicago and I said “so where do you guys want to go” and they said “we’re down with anything!”. Sometimes ultimate flexibility can be intimidating, but we walked around and knowing that C & J wanted “Chicago” we basically worked our way around parts of the city to show off both their genuine smiles and the beautiful city. Some of it was kind of planned at Millennium Park, while other parts were sudden and dangerous, like us standing in the middle of the road to get a shot WITH a moving train!
