Engagement sessions that include water are always fun, but when they’re at a place that represents a couples family, I’m even more excited to photograph them. Dillon and Courtney’s lakefront engagement session at Lake Meade (no, not THAT Lake Meade) was so fun! Their wedding at Wyndridge Farm is next year and this is just a preview of the awesomeness that will happen.
We spent most of the session around Dillon’s grandmother’s house on Lake Meade and it so fun to watch these two interact. At the end of the shoot, we brought out one of Dillon’s many dirt bikes and had some extra fun! He actually proposed to Courtney on a dirt bike (and I thought my proposal was cool!) earlier this year.
I love how generous these two are. Dillon actually let me ride one of his dirt bikes, and Courtney sent me home with a bag of Lucky Charms marshmallows. This just keeps adding to the fact that my couples are incredible. Here are a few of my favorites from their lakefront engagement session..
