We’re back in August after a somewhat relaxing and motivating July! This time, it’s with incredibly sweet friends who found me on Instagram a while back. Earlier this week I got up super early with Anthony and Joanna to grab some photos of them during their Library of Congress engagement.
If there’s one thing that gets me up early, it’s amazing couples down to walk around new locations and make unique images. We spent the morning walking from the Capitol, to the Supreme Court and even the Jefferson and Madison buildings of the Library of Congress. The light was extra good so that means we shot a ton! I’m sure these two got sick of looking at each other and smiling but it was so worth it! We finished up their engagement photos inside the Library of Congress which was gorgeous! Anthony is a history and baseball buff, so the current exhibitions and books in the LoC made this DC engagement session extra special.
You’d think from the photos that we had all of the National Mall to ourselves, but there were lots of tourists walking around, even at 7AM! Whatever it takes to document these two and their smiles & style. It was difficult picking favorites from my first photo session at the Library of Congress but I think these will suffice! Here are a few highlight images from Anthony & Joanna’s Library of Congress engagement ses
