This past Saturday, I photographed Andrew & Anna’s Morrison House Wedding in Old Town Alexandria. I hadn’t met Andrew or Anna before the wedding date due to their living in California but through our emails I knew this wedding would be so fun and special.
Andrew’s family is from the U.K. and his father is Scottish, specifically. When I arrived to photograph him getting ready, I was hoping there would be a kilt involved. Turns out, there were three! (Andrew’s Father, his nephew, and himself).
Andrew and Anna’s whole day was so intimate and peaceful. With 25 people at the Morrison House, it really was one big awesome family gathering. The family exchanged stories about when they met, when Andrew asked Anna’s mom for permission to marry her, and smooth jazz guitar being played during dinner. It was awesome!
