Days when all of the things come together for the sake of surprises and fun are the best days. For Jessica & Larry’s special day, there were many great moments, one where a Nationals Racing President showed up at their wedding at District Winery! It was George Washington and a wonderful surprise for Larry who’s a huge Nationals fan! For the non-DC folks, just google “Nationals President Race”.
What can you say about the first wedding of a weekend in a city that had declared a state of emergency for an oncoming hurricane, but turned out to be a beautiful and sunny day? One of my favorite moments was when we were about to take a few family formals (yes, we take those!) and as Jessica and Larry were posed with their parents, a sweet summer rain came down and it was a magical wedding moment. It only was there few a few seconds and the rest of the day was a delightful surprise of weather and fun.
