This past weekend, at a few amazing wedding facilities in Front Royal Virginia, I photographed Benji & Stacey’s amazing Rappahannock Cellars wedding. I’m always impressed with couples who can have fun and be cute with each other like we did on their engagement session, but also be incredibly serious and sentimental like they were during the beginning of the wedding day.
The wedding day wasted no time ramping up the awesomeness. Getting ready started and was done in two amazing houses at Marriott Ranch that we’re absolutely gorgeous. Then Stacey (through the hands of her made of honor) gave Benji an incredibly heartfelt gift of a photo of his late father, which Benji would wear inside of his suit throughout the day. Yes, everyone in the room (including myself) teared up at this moment.
After the ceremony at Front Royal Presbyterian Church, we headed over to Rappahannock Cellars for the wedding reception that is currently at #1 for having the best wedding band I’ve ever heard. The toasts were tearful, the food was incredible, the former Governor of Virginia (Stacey’s former boss) even showed up and the dancing never stopped. I definitely hope to shoot more weddings at Rappahonnock Cellars and the Marriott Ranch after this one. Here are a few of my favorite wedding images from this past Saturday:
P.S. Special shoutout to Sarah Petersen – (my favorite wedding planner) who did an amazing job organizing everyone and making sure we got where we needed to on time!
