When I send my couples their engagement session questionnaire, I ask them to think of somewhere that is special to them and theory story. Rather than doing something that “looks pretty” or is impersonal, a past date spot or the future neighborhood you’ll live in make for fantastic engagement session locations. When I read Shaun & Reina’s answers saying “We want to do our engagement session at Vigilante Coffee” I instantly said, “DONE!”. A coffee shop engagement? My first. Also, I love coffee shops so Vigilante Coffee made for the best background ever.
I’ve known these two a while, even saw them get their groove on at Kevin & Daniella’s St.Francis Hall wedding last year! I knew when they got engaged we’d be planning lots of fun times together!
The entire engagement session was more than we could’ve imagined. The great folks at Vigilante Coffee literally gave us the whole shop to use, explore and experiment. Of course, Shaun & Reina looked incredible so we made photos everywhere inside the coffee shop. These two were full of laughter and openness to get weird. This was also my first Hyattsville engagement session, so that’s awesome! Of course, we ended the session with some pizza at Pizza Paradiso! It was so good!
Anyway, here are a few of my favorite’s from Shaun & Reina’s coffee shop engagement session at Vigilante Coffee earlier this week!
