Photographing Kyle and Mary’s Marriott Ranch Wedding this past weekend was one of those redemptive experiences. When I showed up, I was immediately welcomed by both Kyle and his hilarious groomsmen, as well as Mary and her 8,000 sisters (really like 8, but there’s a lot!). Both K and M got ready at the same amazing ranch home and that made things incredibly easy to get the fun moments happening both upstairs and downstairs.
Mary’s bridesmaids and bridesBRO Billy (I’m getting that trademarked!) were sweet and fun. I had met Mary’s sister Kelly (aka “Bad Cop”) last year at another wedding at Marriott Ranch and the family’s winery Rappahannock Cellars. She made sure we got a good number of “The Kennedy Shot” so some of those are below.
The reception at Rappahannock Cellars was great. Even though it was super hot all day, there was cornhole & popcorn outside, with an amazing dinner inside. My favorite part: Mary’s father sharing the gift he received from Mary the night before: a self-made book “The ABC’s of Marriage as Modeled by My Mom & Dad”. It was so cute and a tear or two may have came out behind the camera.
Overall, Kyle and Mary’s wedding day was amazing and you couldn’t have asked for better light, especially when it was supposed to rain all day. Here’s a few of my favorite photos from Kyle & Mary’s Marriott Ranch Wedding.
