Although Summer doesn’t officially end until late September, there was a feeling during Ben & Gina’s unique outdoor DC wedding at District Winery last week that perfect weather (aka Fall) was on it’s way. It was my 6th wedding in August and probably had the best weather of all of them!
It was such a fantastic day to be with these two. It was a wonderful combination of the stories these two had been writing for years now. During the speeches, it was mentioned that it seemed Ben was the best person for Gina, and Gina for Ben. Like many weddings, this one had the feeling of a celebratory ribbon cutting, the beginning of something new although it had been planned for months of course. It was amazing!
I should note that Gina designed all of their wedding stationary for their guests from the save the dates to the rehearsal dinner plans and even the menus for the wedding that night. It’s one of the most incredible things to have the brides personal touch be something all guests experience, so I had to include a photo of that as well!
Here are a few of my favorites from Ben & Gina’s outdoor DC wedding at District Winery!
