We’re huge fans of engagement sessions around here, but we’re even bigger fans of couples who choose to make a session their own. For some that’s a location, or an activity. For Sarah & Shawn’s Wharf engagement photos, it was both!
Sarah & Shawn live pretty close to DC’s newest waterfront attraction The Wharf and wanted to rock their session there. These two also share an electric scooter for getting around DC so we HAD to make sure we got some photos of them together on that as well.
I can’t remember the last engagement session that had both the smells of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream alongside fresh blue crabs but it was probably this Union Stage Wedding a while back so it’s been a while! We finished up the session with some epic light for sunset out on one of many of The Wharf’s boardwalks and piers that go into the Potomac River. You’ll see below you can’t get much better light than what we got this night. SO much fun!
